Incorporation of Bhansali Engineering Polymers Limited (9th April, 1984)

Listed on Stock Exchanges

Got listed on the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.

1st Joint Collaboration

Implemented a project to manufacture 7.5 KTPA of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) at Satnoor, Madhya Pradesh in technical collaboration with Sumitomo Chemical Engg. Co. Ltd. and Sumitomo Naugatuck Co. Ltd from Japan.

ABSTRON Introduced

Product under the brand name of ‘ABSTRON’ was well accepted in the market and efforts made to develop newer applications.

Commissioned 7.5 KTPA capacity of ABS at Satnoor plant in Madhya Pradesh.

Capacity Expansion

Expansion of capacity of ABS from 7.5 KTPA to 15 KTPA.

Vadodra Plant Established

Took over Polychem’s 5 KTPA ABS/SAN Plant at Vadodara, under a license and subsequently purchased it.

Vadodra Plant Expansion

Expanded the Vadodara Plant capacity to 12 KTPA, resulting in combined capacity of 27 KTPA.

Set Up of Abu Road Plant

Took over RPRL unit of Greaves Ltd. (20 KTPA) at Abu Road, Rajasthan under license and subsequently, purchased it.

Modernized plant configuration and achieved 48 KTPA aggregate ABS manufacturing capacity, based on exclusive HRG production at Satnoor plant and Bulk SAN and Compounding production at Abu Road.

ERP Introduced

Revamped its process technology to achieve, in post expansion phase, cost and quality leadership and also successfully implemented ERP Programme, “my SAP”.

Awards for Quality Excellence

Received “Excellence Award” from the Institute of Economic Studies, and “Best Organization Gold Award” from the Public Sector Today.

Mr. B. M. Bhansali, Managing Director was duly recognized by the Institute of Economic Studies (IES) for his contribution towards Industrial growth and awarded "Udyog Rattan Award". He was awarded with “Indian Achievers Award for Quality Excellence” by All India Achievers Foundation and “International Achievers Award for Business Excellence” by the International Achievers Conference.

JV with Nippon A&L Inc

Entered into Joint Venture (JV) with ‘Nippon A&L Inc.’, Japan on 11th May, 2013. The JV Company viz. Bhansali Nippon A&L Private Limited, was incorporated on 25th July, 2013.

Expansion to 80 KTPA

Successfully commissioned capacity expansion to 80 KTPA.

ABS Numero Uno

Attained the position of “Numero Uno” ABS manufacturer in India.

Achieved the status of “Zero debt Company”.

Successfully implemented the capacity expansion plan from 80 KTPA to 100 KTPA at its Abu Road plant.

Established R&D Centre at Abu Road

Established ‘State-of-the-Art’ Research and Development Centre ('R&D Centre') at Abu Road in January, 2019.

Successfully commissioned expansion of compounding capacity from 100 KTPA to 137 KTPA at Abu Road plant.
